Based in Zurich, the company is known to make timepieces to tender for contracts with armed forces and military units.MWC produces an extensive range of G10 general service watches, including the model pictured above, which bears the NATO Stock Number: NSN 6645-99-472-3228. This specific model is currently supplied to the British Army by the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
However, they are somewhat of a controversial brand, based mainly around accusations that they make false claims about the provenance of their brand and that they are issued to actual military / police units (which to my knowledge, they aren't).
